History with some interesting bits
Review created: 01/03/08(updated 01/03/08)

I never really liked history, but this book seemed to change my mind a little bit. It has information on the life of some important psychologists - where they came from, how they started to be interested in psychology, and what achievements they had during their lives. In some instances, the authors also included information on the psychologists' personal lives...of course, relevant information to why they were doomed in their career or how it helped them advance in their field. For example, the authors mentioned the personality and scandals of John Watson, an American psychologist, and how he was banned from the academic field because of it.
In a nutshell, it is a rather interesting history book. The only thing I would have liked to see in the content is a bit more illustrations on the timeline of the order of events and how these are related to other important psychologists. After all, it is a history book, and not a biography of a celebrity.
