Movie Description

Highlighting the courage it took to make the dreams of these artists and visionaries come true, audiences experience the importance of standing up for one's beliefs, and fighting for a voice in the face of any opposition. The glowing career of Vernon Jordan traces an ascendance to power in Washington that began with his years in the civil rights movement, and Angela Y. Davis' commitment to overthrowing all forms of oppression, most recently in the prison system, is also highlighted. Ultimately a tribute to the strength of spirit exhibited by these artists and visionaries, COURAGE is a stirring call to those who might follow in their wake.
