It's not a page turn pager, I'll just read it when I can, not something I would pass around. It's going to be a long time for me to finish it, I'm reading another book in the meantime. Nothing in the book is keeping me locked in, it's all just words.

This book was required for one of my classes. I really enjoyed reading it, it provided very good bases for starting to learn about the three monotheistic religions. The book arrived quickly and was in good condition.

I bought this book because I wanted to find out more information about the world's religions. So much misunderstanding exists in our world about religion and there are so many interpretations of God. This book, in a very respectful and intelligent manner, explains the similarities of the belief in God in all world religions. A friend from my church recommended Karen Armstrong as a historical bibilical scholar who reaches out to the public to stress the importance of similarities of all religions and acceptantance of different beliefs. It is the best book I've read on religions of the world. Also, a wake up call to everyone that the entire premise of a belief in God, according to history, has always been to love one another - no matter your religion.

I bought this title for a Religious Studies class, and though I have only read a few chapters in the book, I realize why it made the NY Times #1 bestseller. Armstrong is a compelling writer making everything that I have read very intersting, and easy to understand for anybody.
I highly recomend this title.
