Even though this book was first published more than 100 years ago, the basic Christian concepts remain the same today. It is good, clean writing and the message of the story would do anyone good. It helped me to review and renew my own commitment to Christ. My first copy of this book was given to me as a gift from my church when I graduated from grammar school. It helped me then and I would recommend that it be read and discussed by all teens today.
