    I purchased this book for my daughter who recently married.I had read an earlier edition and was quite impressed as a wife with tne insights expressed in the book. The updated version is even better! I think every engaged or newlywed couple should read this book. I believe many hard feelings and arguments can be avoided by having the knowledge available from Mr. Harley about the way men and women think and express love to one another! A must read!

    I purchased this book after my daughter recommended it after reading it for a book report in high school while studying relationships. The book helps view not just one side of the problems and solutions in marrital relationships, but explains both the husband and wife's perspectives and personal needs. It takes great time and detail in describing these diferences. The book is unbiased as to placing blame or importance on one spouses needs or importance over another. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in understanding their spouses needs as well as confirming their own needs and perspectives.
