CLASSIC COSBY: Hilariously Intelligent, Comedy Stories
6 of 7 people found this review helpful.
Bill Cosby's compilation album At His Best (1995) includes 10 comedy routines from an under-appreciated period of his stand-up comedy career. Though less well-known than his classic '60s Warner Brothers albums, the material has several laugh-out-loud moments, including the hilarious childhood tale "Fat Albert Got a Hernia."
Cosby introduces more adult material than in previous albums and includes the rare music track, "Grover Henson Feels Forgotten." This particular track is more thoughtful than humorous, but is nonetheless a great piece.
At His Best is a delightfully safe album for any listening audience, including families. If you appreciate Cosby's days recording with Warner Brothers, you'll thoroughly enjoy this collection.
