Hindi (1999, Abridged, Audio Cassette)

I recently purchased the Pimsleur Hindi Language Program. It consists of five cassettes or CD's and instruction booklet in a clamshell case.There are ten thirty minute lessons.
The lessons require your participation in order for you to become comfortable speaking. If you want to immeditely start speaking this is the course for you!
The vocabulary is limited but is sufficient for everyday conversation. On the plus side you will be able to use this voabulary easily and fluently.
After completing this course you will be able to strike up a conversation and talk about everyday business, and as you do so you will definitely pick up new words, thus increasing your vocabulary.
This course is especially good for those who have Hindi textbooks and courses, but are just too intimidated to start; it will give you a jumpstart and confidence to dive in to those intimidating texts.
For an introductory course in spoken Hindi I give it a 5 out of 5, but as a complete course in itself I would have to give it a 3 out of 5.
Go for it, don't put it off anymore, this is definitely Hindi without tears!
