The Highlander's Touch by Karen Marie Moning (2000, Paperback, Reissue)

If you like historical or paranormal romance you will absolutely love this book. It is probably the best combination of both that I've ever read. Circenn is the steamiest character possible and the romance between him and his leading lady is fantastic. This book rates up there with Nora Roberts paranormal romance but with a twist of humor and some uncanny situations. This book led me to all of Moning's other fantastic novels and this is a must read book!

LOVE THE SERIES AND JUST HAD TO HAVE IT TO READ AND READ AGAIN. LOVE THE CHARACTERS AND THE WAY THE AUTHOR WRITES.

I think the way Karen writes is great!! She has such a witty sense of humor, and the guys on the front cover are to die for. The book has it all, hotties, humor, magic, fae, and undying true love..what else can you ask for!

Like most of her other books this one is up to par. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because the ending seemed a little thrown together. Otherwise, it was fabulous. I surprised this book doesn't steam with the love making. I do recommend this book as a purchase.

This is the first book by Karen Marie Moning that I ever read and it truly made me a fan. As soon as I read this book I bought all the books by her that I could find. It combines romance, magic, humor, and mystery into one great read. The Highlander's Touch is just the best of all worlds - historical romance, modern romance, humor, a strong woman, a strong man, mysticism and magic, AND intrigue. While reading this book it felt like I was actually there at times. A great read and well worth the money. One of the great attributes of any book in this series is that they are stand alone books - you can read them in any order you like and they will still make sense, you will not feel as if you have missed anything - you will just want to read the others because you enjoyed THIS one so much.
