Highlander: The Series - Season Two (DVD, 2003)

In season 2 - Duncan meets his imortal watcher Joe Dawson & looses the love of his life (Tessa) in a tragic shooting accident. Richie Ryan also becomes immortal during this street shooting.

For the series fan, these are a must see. extra minutes not seen on american tv, a producers commentary on each episode, not to mention the extras like short write-ups on each immortal encountered, birth, first death, teacher, etc. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!! For those who not have seen the series, on the discs they call it an adventure, romantic, action series, and that's a pretty good description. Imagine if your neighbor, office mate, or that stranger on the street was an immortal born 100, 200 or a thousand years ago! The possibilities and the histories are all explored here, and a lot of fun is had along the way. Just, please don't forget: "There can be only one!!"

This DVD set is the best and a definate must have for any Highlander fan out there. I personally own all 6 season's and the ultimate fan collection and they are great. This is my Favorite Season of the 6 seasons but I can't tell you why because I would ruin it for you if you haven't yet watched this Season. I will tell you that it is a defining moment in this series and it is what hooked me on the series as well as the movies.

It made A good birthday present for A family member.This program unlike most programs is differnt. It's about a man that is immortal born four hundred years ago in Scottland and that differnts is whats great about it.

We have watched this for a long time. The family injoyes the show and finds the concept interesting. They do a good job of keeping the violence out of the movie and not making it baced on violence. It is nice to see the martial arts at work.

I watch the series years ago and always liked it. It's a good rainy day entertainment. I have grandkids that like it too. The item arrived in very good condition and in a timely manner.

I am a suspect to comment this serial and season because I love it.After the cinema these character mooved to episodes with six seasons. I am expecting for more. This second season is different from the third and a sequence from the first. I enjoy it very much because still keeps the touch of the original movie.

I loved Highlander when it was on TV. I decided to buy this so I could watch them again. It is an excellent drama with elements of adventure and fantasy.

Highlander: The Series - Season Two -I love to watch because mom got me hook on the tv series when it was on tv. When I was in middle school. Also it has a good looking guy.

Season two is just as good as season one. Duncan is one that will help anyone who needs help and spares the evel immortals when ever he can. They are so bad that sometimes you just wish he would go ahead and kill them. This is a series that you really get wrapped up in and it's great to be able to have a marathon and watch it for episode after episode. They allow fighting to be shown, but when it comes time for someone to be beheaded they show it in a way that children won't know what is happening unless you tell them. Our teen likes it, and she's one of those that doesn't like whatever we like, most of the time. You'll love it and want the whole series.

What can be said, there can be only one. Highlander Season 2 delivers in spades, action, excellent acting, woderful writing and a cohesive story line. This show raised the bar in televison for me. Its been more than 10 years and the show still seems fresh. The only thing that will strike you as odd is the lack of cell phones. If I had to give you a negative about the show, it be the character Richie (Stan Kirsche), I think that was the only thing that detracted from an otherwise amazing show. Buy it and enjoy

Ok Now we move on to Season 2 of the world famous Highlander series , This is a great season also for the frist time Duncan Macloed meets his watcher Joe Dawson and a friendship is born that would out last even the series itshef and again Duncan get's to kick some A** in this season he fights some old foes some new ones and back again . He also lose's his love Tessa Noel who is killed by a scumbag junkie . All in all a great season . From 1 to 10 , I give season 2 a 10 again due to the great actors the fighting and the great season . Frist came out in 1993-1994 . By Harlan Walters

My husband and I were great fans of the Highlander Series. We had most episodes on tape that were unfortunately destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. We bought the DVD's because one you cannot beat the price that we paid on ebay and two we just missed having Highlander at our disposal to watch whenever we wanted to. Ebay has been an excellent source for supplying things that we lost in that dreadful storm. I am so happy my 8 year old found Ebay for us LOL. I go to Ebay now for everything. I am one of the few women that hate to shop with a passion and with Ebay, shopping is the best thing ever!!!!

I was a fan of the origonal movie,the three sequals where terrible.I was also fan of the tv series.As far as the dvd set,the picture quality in some episodes are a bit grainy.But overall good.Theres also a lot of extras.If your a fan of the orgonal movie,you should pick this up.
