Highlander: The Series - Season One (DVD, 2002)

HIGHLANDER is the story of Duncan MacLeod, clansman of Connor, who is part of an immortal race of warriors. Having lived through five centuries, wandering the Earth while taking the head and subsequently the life force of any other immortal to challenge him, Duncan's ultimate goal was to find and kill Kurgan, his sworn enemy. Now living in the late part of the 20th century, Duncan's mission is simply to prevent any immortal from acquiring "The Prize", an object of power that will give any immortal who possesses it the power to control the world.

I've been a fan of the TV series: The Highlander, since it first began. The first season is my favorite because of Tessa. Duncan and Tessa were a perfect match. I didn't like any of the other women, they just weren't right for him. Duncan is my hero. I can watch these episodes over and over again. I have the sixth season also. I didn't like the last season-too dark.

Well I have never wrote one of these before so here it goes... Highlander is awesome! I was offerd a very fair price for everything that I recieved. I am currently in Iraq and so I like to watch shows in my free time. The complete Highlander series was perfect for that. I recieved them very fast, even though I am in Iraq. It is great to have something to do in my free time! I have baught a number of DVD shows and I dont think I will be able to even finish the series before I get back home. Well I recommend this series to everyone, especially those who are away and need a little peace of home!

For the series fan, these are a must see. extra minutes not seen on american tv, a producers commentary on each episode, not to mention the extras like short write-ups on each immortal encountered, birth, first death, teacher, etc. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!! For those who not have seen the series, on the discs they call it an adventure, romantic, action series, and that's a pretty good description. Imagine if your neighbor, office mate, or that stranger on the street was an immortal born 100, 200 or a thousand years ago! The possibilities and the histories are all explored here, and a lot of fun is had along the way. Just, please don't forget: "There can be only one!!"

This DVD set is the best and a definate must have for any Highlander fan out there. I personally own all 6 season's and the ultimate fan collection and they are great. ~~~ There can be only ONE, and that is Duncan MacLeod ~~~

I bought the item for my mom cuz she loves highlander and she gave me all her vhs highlander series. well i bought this item on 06-12-09. i gave you feedback before i got the item wich was the biggest mistake i ever made. it is know 06-26-09 and i finally have the highlander series. when i asked you about when it would be shipped you were a rude smartass. well i'm here to say you suck ass! i bought 4 items days after i bought the highlander from you and i got three of them before i got the dvd's from you. i will never buy from you again.

Highlander is always good...a little cheesy but it always was...the series gets better the longer it is on.

If you are a fan of this series then this dvd set is a must-have!!!! I gave this to my husband for his birthday and the look on his face was worth every penny!

I was a fan from the original movie series back before it became a cult fad and still believe it's one of the best series in and on TV today from the past. I had the opportunity to purchase the first series for series one on VHS ant they stopped producing them after series one and was extremely upset when they stopped I’m glad they stopped as I was able to purchase all Six seasons in one hit on DVD.
