) I bought this book for my grandson who is a young reader. This is one of his first chapter books. All of Mary Pope Osborne's books portray great characters, values and adventure. I would recommend this author for young readers.

) My son is in the 2nd grade, and he loves this series of books. They are all about 68 pages long so the can easily be read in one sitting. They have a few challenging words in them which makes it fun for kids. It is best to ready the first book in the series first, just so you understand what is going on. They do refer back to the other stories quite often. A sure winner with your kids. Age reading level is 8-12 years. Enjoy!
