High School Musical 2 (Blu-ray Disc, 2007, Extended Edition)

High School Musical 2 is the second film in the High School Musical series. The World Premiere took place on August 17, 2007[3] at Disneyland, in Anaheim, California. The primary cast, including Zac Efron, Lucas Grabeel, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale, attended the event. The film debuted on television on August 17, 2007, on Disney Channel in the U.S., and on Family in Canada.

In the second installment of the Disney franchise, high school student Troy Bolton stresses over getting a job, with the price of college expenses looming on his mind, as well as trying to make sure he and Gabriella Montez are able to stay together all summer.

The premiere was seen by a total of over 18 million viewers in the United States which is almost 10 million more than its predecessor, making it the highest-rated Disney Channel Movie of all time.[4][5][6]

Better than the first. It just get better and better with the HSM series. Lve them all and the cast are excellent.

This movie I bought for my sister...she loved it. And specially the sing-along was great for her now she doesn't leave me alone because she tells me to put the movie everyday...lol

i have the regular dvd for hsm2. since i got a blue-ray and wanted to experience what was the difference, i bought hsm2 on blue-ray. now for the movie, i really like watching it. it reminds all about the drama i had in high school a few years ago.

I have not looked at this film and it will probably be a while before I will. I purchased it because it was at an excellent price and I will eventually see it when my neices come to visit in the future.

Another great addition to the High School Musical craze! The movie is a great-young adult inspired musical! Sometimes, I think that it would be nice, for everyone around you to break-out into song and dance one day!

This movie continues on the adventure of the high school kids from HSM1. The opening number made me want to be in that high school cos it was loads of fun. Songs are totally catchy and enjoyable, and I found myself singing along with them. Good thing about the Blu-Ray version is that there is a sing along feature which can be really useful if you wanna become Troy or Gabriella.

I would definitely recommend this movie!

We love this movie as a family. We've seen it in regular format, but bought this bluray and WOW...amazing difference. The details are just amazing!

As for the movie it's just a nice show especially if you have kids. No language, and though there are dating relationships, they aren't inappropriate. My kids LOVE to sing and dance along! Highly recommend.

This is one of the BEST Disney DVD for all ages. My 4 year old can watch this DVD with my 12 year old niece. How wonderful! And, I don't mind watching this together again and again..... Quality of Blu-ray is great plus.

This movie is an excellent sequel to the perfectly performed High School Musical. The main stars are onpoint and the songs are very good! The storyline is outstanding! This is a must see if you liked the first one, or if you are just a Disney or musical fan! I rate this movie a 96% out of 100%. Just Superb!

I bought this because I enjoyed High School Musical. I was very disappointed because the cast and producton seemed to have phoned it in. Rotten plot, No continuity. Bad editing. If they were making a parody it would be one thing. There is no evidence of them camping this up. In one dance scene Sharpay cannot make up her mind to wear a hat or not. This was not a parody it was slip shod editing and rotten continuity. Parody is Annette Funnicello wearing a new outfit in each scene in "Back to the Beach"

Walt Disney did not believe in doing sequels. This film illustrates the wisdom of that policy
