High Rollers Casino (Xbox, 2004)

This is a great game! You will love playing this! It is a lot of fun! Almost better than the real thing!

I bought this game for my mother. A friend of hers had one and loved it and she wanted one to see what all the hype was. After receiving it she loved the idea of making your own player, knocking people off a slot machine you want to play, and the realistic action of the game. The only problem with the game she did not like and neither did I since I had to try to help her out was trying to figure out how to get everything to work. The instructions are not very clear.

Just an average slots, poker, keno, etc.... casino game. I bought it because I got a good deal on it....would not pay any more than I did.

Recently I was rummaging through a box of "free stuff" at a yard sale when I found an old Xbox machine. It came with all the cables to hook it up to our TV. It needed a game and a controller before I could determine if it worked.

I made a quick search using "Xbox games -360" to zero in on some games. I knew my machine would not play games for the Xbox 360, so I needed to exclude 360 from my search. I found this one called "High Rollers Casino" which was brand new and started at a penny. I was lucky and got the game for that opening bid plus shipping.

While I was waiting for it to arrive, I searched Craigslist for someone local who might have a controller for sale. Luck was still with me and I quickly located an ad with five controllers for sale. I picked them up and they threw in a DVD remote control.

Soon my game arrived and I was ready to test my free Xbox machine, which by now had cost me twenty dollars for controllers plus a penny for my first game. I managed to find the correct ports on my TV to plug the cables into. After I hit the power button, my Xbox came to life. It was necessary to set the date and time. Then I inserted the High Rollers Casino disc and I had my first experience ever playing an Xbox.

Being new to the Xbox, it took me some time to discover which buttons I needed to press on the controller to get things going. I was soon placing bets like a pro. My best luck seems to be at playing "21." I have tried several of the slot machines and roulette. All of these have very realistic looks and just like a real casino, it is hard to win. The sounds, which are always present after you enter the game, remind me of being in real casino. This game has since presented me with several hours of casino action while keeping me and my money out of real casinos. I still haven't played all of the games in the casino. You may want to pretend to be James Bond and try your luck at Baccarat. Poker is a popular choice. You will find Texas hold-em, 7 card stud, 5 card draw and several others I never heard of. Perhaps you are ready to try your luck at Craps? They are all in there and much more. I think I'll give Pai Gow poker a try next.

I am not your average game player. After all, I am a great grandfather. I never played a game machine until now. I would recommend "High Rollers Casino" to anyone trying to learn to play the various games found in a real casino. The bartender will give you tips and rules for playing any of the games and you will soon be a video high roller without spending any of your own hard earned cash. If you do run out of video money, just go to the cashier and ask for some more. You can get your next loan after a little begging.

The action is not too fast. For me, a beginner to gaming, it was a great way to learn about the Xbox and get a handle (no pun intended) on how to use the controller. This game may not be exciting enough for the juvenile players who like to race cars or shoot at something. I enjoy playing it and don't feel so far behind the kids anymore when it comes to these gaming machines.

Now to "tackle" my next game. Let's see. There's football, baseball and even golf. What should I try next? Ebay here I come.

I love to gamble, but it can get expensive in the real world... LOL! ;) I also like to use this game to teach my friends how to gamble, so that they don't look like idiots when they do get to a real casino... Hahaha!!! This is a game you can play forever... I always recommend gambling & golf video games to anyone in my (30-40) age group! ;)

Decent game. Easy to use. Graphics are not too bad. Lots to do. Those are the simplified comments. Overall, I have not gotten too far into the casino with my main function being to be sure the game worked. You get to create your own character which is always nice. Well, kind of create your own character, there are still only so many choices in the game's templates. But the initial review appears decent.

Seeing how X-box games are no longer available in stores I decided to look on e-bay. My husbands bithday is coming up, so I dedided to buy him a few games. Looks like he enjoys playing them.

This is a fun game. I'm glad that I bid on it. I am also glad that I paid less than half the price on clearance at the local game shop.

I liked this item because it was exactly how it was explained and more. It was never opened and still in the wrapping. I decided to buy this item because th seller had good feedack numbers and seemed to be trustworthy. The game was really fun and almost addicting in a way.

I think this is a fun game for an adult. Since it deals with gambling I would not recommed it for a child or teenager. It is fun to plan. The game I received was in mint condition.

I basically bought this game for my mother who is a big fan of any casino type games. I own a xbox 360 i gave her my orginal xbox sice all my old games work on my 360.
