High Five by Janet Evanovich (1999, Hardcover)

I LOVED this book!! It's the funniest one yet, and has so many plots going at the same time that you can't possibly put it down until you've finished. At the request of her family, Steph starts out looking for her Uncle Fred, whom no one likes, and is secretly glad he's gone--especially his wife, Aunt Mable, who is finally free of his mean, nasty, and miserly domination. She's also looking for Randy the Dwarf--another story!!! Needing money, as usual, Steph moonlights for Ranger, doing security of a dubious nature, and, again as usual, gets in way over her head with gangs, stalkers, murderers, chopped up bodies, debauchery, more bodies, exploding cars, more interesting funeral viewings, gunfights, and so much more that I can't even begin to tell you in this limited space. This is a REAL JEWEL!!!

The wacky crazy bounty hunter never fails to amuse. Read this series from the start to get the full effect of Stephanie Plum and all her antics. The characters keep evolving throughout the series and you don't want to miss out on any of the details. So funny. So far there are 12 in the series + "visions of sugar plums" a holiday novel and Mary Higgins Clark has a short story about Stephanie Plum called "The last Peep" that is in her book "The Plot Thickens". I hope this information helps you add to your PLUM collection!

This is one of my FAVORITE books in the series... Altho I love them ALL!!! One suggestion is that you do NOT read High Five without having Hot Six an arms length away for when you finish!

A Book by this author is always good... Fun reading... Perfect to sit and laugh to yourself...Jane Evanovich if one of the best writiers you can help but love her books..

I love this series of books (Stephanie Plum Novels) and wanted to collect the series (12 books) in hardcover...I have most of them with the exception of Hot Six which I haven't received yet. I would highly recommend this series of books; they are funny and very entertaining. Janet Evanovich knows how to tell a story and keep you guessing. Try them you'll love them. Also, most of the hardcovers that I tried to get from book stores are out of print so Ebay was very instrumental in helping me to collect them in great condition and at a very good price.

I like the Janet Evanovich book. This one is about as good as most of the rest. Would recommend it to anyone who likes comical mysteries.

Janet Evanovich and her Stephanie Plum series are the best. Keeps your mind on the story. You never know what is going to happen next. Makes it to where you just can't wait to get the next book. Morelli never stood a chance!! Once you start reading you can't put it down.

i bought this book for my daughter she is collecting the series of these books she enjoys the reading she readings them from front to rear she said they have to be read in order and she cant wait to get the intire series of theses books she collect hard cover only and 1st edition they will last her for years

Love the Stephanie Plum and all the other characters. I bought it because I want to own all the books

On first bidding on this book, I was under the assumption it was a 1st edition but upon receiving it found out it was a "book club" edition. I wrote to the Seller about this and when I did not hear back from him was somewhat unhappy over the transaction. After a few days I did hear from the Seller and received a lovely apology for the mixup and he graciously told me to keep the book at no charge. He could have told me to just return the book but he did not. Thank you.
