A great psychological thriller with a great cast and some really unexpected twists and turns!
Dakota Fanning is incredible as usual and Robert De Niro is awesome as her mourning father.
Mini Plot Summary: Fanning and De Niro move to the country after the death of De Niros wife. Although a slow starter, once Fanning meets Charlie (her imaginary friend) the action really picks up.
Final Verdict:
3/5
Rent or Buy?: I've seen this movie twice and enjoyed it both times. That being said I don't feel the urge to watch this movie over and over again. Rent it once or twice, but buying it isn't necessary.

This was a great movie. I loved Dakota Fanning in this. All the actors did a great job. A great mystery movie that makes you wonder "Who is Charlie?". Plus the extra features on the DVD just help set this movie off more. You have alternate endings to view and some of them are just creepy! I really enjoyed watching this movie and trying to figure out all the little twist and turns. I would recommend it to anyone.
I bought this movie because I watched it once, and had to see it again. The movie is very "Sixth Sense" meets "The Shining." It grabs you almost immediately and you are attracted to it. I couldn't take my eyes of the screen. I gasped, felt confused, and was utterly surprised at some moments. It is creepy, and mysterious, without being gory. RObert Dinero did an amazing job, as did his costar, Dakota Fanning. Their performances make the movie addicting to watch. The complexity of the story and its characters makes for an awesome movie that I suggest you watch.
Dakota Fanning and Robert DeNiro are excellent in this thriller about a young girl and her father who move to the country after the death of her mother. Many twists and turns in this movie and you wonder the whole time "Who the heck is Charlie".... A surprise ending!
