Hidden Witness by Jackie Napolean Wilson (2000, Hardcover)

This book is filled with some very wonderful poignant photos. The book would have been excellent in my opinion, had the author not made so many assumptions about the images. Each time I looked at the photos I thought about what the story might have been for the sitter, where they were from, what they did, why the photo was made the way it was. Then I would read what the author wrote about the image and his interpretation and my own clashed a little. It would have been much better had there been more factual information rather than just the thoughts of the author. Other than that, I am very happy that I bought the book. The great photos make up for the authors rant.
