This is from the Publisher's notes:
<<Reflects years of in-depth and extensive research. The author clearly demonstrates the movement's supreme purpose: to subvert our Judeo-Christian foundation and create a one-world order through a complex network of occult organizations.>>
The New Age Movement includes, but is not limited to, teachings of Eastern mysticism, using labels you would expect to find in any modern motivational seminar or course in how-to-succeed-in-business. It employs the underlying concepts of such other religious groups as Hinduism, Buddhism, & of late, the American Indians. Clothed in sheep's garments as "self-help books" on how to analyze/manage/capitalize on your own thoughts and feelings, most New Age literature offers Eastern meditative introspection, or American Indian rituals & ceremonies, for Western business and/or personal & interpersonal success. It's ancient cult lore with up-to-date Western tags, sold like any other product by feigned objectives touted to put you in touch with a "higher plane of existence", a more powerful you, or new ways to maipulate all around you to get that success you so crave.
The New Age Movement is, quite bluntly, non-Christian and anti-Biblical. It is fast becoming a new belief system that is being presented to all as the gateway to success in our modern, dog-eat-dog world. It is glorified as a mystic way of life, a fascinating "experience" that hints at its own gods without openly naming them. It is a return to paganism as an escape from personal problems, failures, & reality.
The New Age Movement usually offers worldly success through attainment & absorption of some "mysterious secret". You, too, can become a god; in fact, why not be the only god there is? You're told repeatedly that you have power within you to achieve any goal, and you can do it apart from normal standards of achievement. This mysterious power imposes NO moral principles, NO rhyme or reason. It, the POWER, resides completely within you. You are told "IT" has always been there. Just accept its existence & then summon it forth. Adore its awesome power, allow it to grow, & you will find it taking over to "help" you, to manage your every facet of existence.
Through an act of pure imagery, you will begin to discover this so-called awesome ability within you. Through meditation, trance, or some other mystical means, you will imagine that you have touched the "center". By imagining your "new self" , & believing the visions called forth, you will come to think you have entered a new, higher state of being. This new , though conncocted, pseudo-reality is supposed to be proof that you have entered the inner circle, discovered the mysterious secret; you are now a god. The world is yours!
Welcome to the New Age, to "enlightenment", to "unlimited power". Cumbey says that what this really is, is a journey into utter darkness. It is far more than mere auto-suggestion , or "beneficial self-hypnosis". Cumbey, an expert in the study of New Age movements, says that all this mumbo-jumbo is , is a willing submission to Satanic forces. It is simply mind-control, a dulling of the wits, an end to reason, a departure from reality & truth. She believes that the "pathway" this New Age system points its victims to, the quest for "power " that insists you imagine a LIE until you are owned by it, is nothing but a subtle takeover by Satanic forces. Her research is impeccable. The book is chilling. Read & decide for yourself.
