Hey Santa!! Listen to THIS!!

It appears that the Wilson family has a gene for pure voices. Carnie and Wendy treat many Seasonal Standards quite well. BUT.... the outstanding thing on this recording is that daddy Brian Wilson has musically captured the sound of snowflakes falling on the first eight or so measures of Winter Wonderland. If for not OTHER reason than that, this is a must-buy for early-baby-boomers (birth-years 1942-1949) who grew up with the incredibly mellow sound of the Beach Boys. A second reason for buying this is the chuckle when you read the credits!! It looks as if the Wilsons, the Jardines, and the Loves, had a thanksgiving dinner then, instead of gathering 'round the TV to watch football, they went over to Brian's multi-million-dollar recording studio and played instruments and let the girls sing Christmas songs, and recorded the whole darn thing. What fun!! Wheee!!! and the fun they had producing and making the recording carries over into the recording itself. A good seasonal listen and for us now in our sixties, a hearken back to the days of our youth. Only Brian Wilson could attempt to capture the sound of snowflakes falling.
