HeY Mom1 I'm Home Again! Strategies for Parents and Children is a very WELL written book. I think it should be a MUST READ and STUDY for ALL parents and children, before they leave their home (nest)!
Children in this society/world we live in often cannot make it on their own. Due to the fact of financial mismanagement, marriage breakdowns, or other reasons.
Families historically have helped several generations to shoulder the responsibilities of raising children. It often takes Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and sibling to assist children in the growing up periods. Growing up does not mean that when you are 18 you are mature, adult and ready to flee or fly from the nest/home.
This book explains different cultures. How the cultures treat family members, in-laws, etc. It teaches how to psychologically interact with adult children. How to help them learn to be emotionally stable, how to learn to become independent.
Very well and meaningful book. It is not a waste of time to read.
