needed it for scanning documents to save to a server for a small doctors office. worked for what was needed of it.

Just the thingI needed a scanner to do higher volume copies that were email compatable for my business. It had to work with XP AND Vista and my ocr software and this met the bill as well as handling normal single sheet scans, 8 1/2 x 14 (legal) and color. This works well and is affordable. Compared with an all in one printer, this is much faster and works flawlessly. I decided NOT to go with an older model as the runner feeder rollers can need refreshing--watch the number of scans on some of the older ones as the more they have done the more you can get feeder jams. All in all, very pleased.
