Hewlett Packard Photosmart 7760 InkJet Printer

I upgraded from an Epson Stylus color 900 inkjet printer to this HP PhotoSmart 7760 InkJet Printer and all I can say is OUTSTANDING!!! It does 8x10 and 4x6 color photos very well and FAST!!!!! After printing my first picture I took it over under the light to see if I could find any small dots that make up the picture and I could not. You can't tell if these pictures were printed or dropped off at a photo place. It does text very well too and FAST!!!!!!!! You don't even need a computer to use it. Just put in the memory device that holds the photos and you can do everything from it's very own LCD screen. It can also be hooked up to a computer for everyday use. The ink lasts forever too!!!!!! This is just one AWESOME printer!!!!! Highly recommened!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a real workhorse and produces exceptional quality prints on a wide variety of papers. The drawbacks for me have been primarily with the small size of the ink cartridges. They just don't seem to last very long, but then again neitehr does the paper, so maybe the print count is allright. At any rate, this is a good one to go with especially for the price they sell for these days. i bought mine when they first came out and now they sell for nearly half the original cost.

This is the third hp printer I have purchased. It will be the last. I had this printer for 1 year and 8 days and it sits on top of the other hp photosmart printers that also failed within a year. I purchased this unit at walmart because my other hp failed and needed to print a contract that day. I liked the idea of card reader and the lcd screen. Now I'm after a printer that I will not have to replace once a year. The inks are extremely expensive in comparison to Canons or Epsons inks. Customer support does pick-up fast but when they do nothing for you 8 days out of warranty-what good does fast support do!! They said they would give me a deal on a new printer?? Lets just say in 2.5 years I gave them $600.00 on what I believed to be a quality product..If they sent me a free printer I would send it back!! Junk is Junk!! I usually make my purchases towards the top of the line late model units.. and spend the money figuring it will be a better built unit?! If any of their units last mich longer than a year it certainly wasnt these 3 hp's. Keep in mind that these units had very limited use as well.. I could maybe deal with it better if it was a work horse.. This unit was lucky if it printed more than 75 pages!!!!!!!! If you are in the market for a printer I have done plenty of research this time. I have read 100's of reviews on photo printers. From professional and from users of people who have had operation for in excess of a year.. Everyone loves their printer at first so those were not taken in consideration.. The models That I would recommend for photo printers are as follows: Canon IP8500- and the Canon I9900 for wide carriage for large 13x19 prints these units don't have card readers or bling but they are 8 color printers or The Epson r800 and wide carriage R1800 also prints directly on cd\dvd. The people who own these units are extremely pleased.. Todays products are not tested well and I'm considering hp to be at the top of the pile.. I will purchase the I9900 today they are considered to be a workhorse with no ink clogs and turns on when the button is pushed.

This printeer is absolutely great. Pictures come out great. It is quiet. The only thing I don't care for is it 'shoots' the paper out fast and on to the floor. It's ok when I flip out the extension to catch the paper, but I'm not use do having to do this. Otherwise, it's a great printer for photos. Would highly recommend.

Very easy to use when printing from a camera that uses a USB connection to the camera or if you have a memory card!

This has been the best printer that I have ever used. My friend has the same one and I loved it before I even bought it.

I have probably owned my printer for 3 years atleast and have only had one problem, which I easily fixed. I made all my wedding invitation on this printer, and have printed hundreds of pictures I LOLVE THIS MACHINE. I would never choose any different I have just recently bought the ALL IN ONE HP $300.00 Printer I LOVE IT. The price is definately worth it.If you ask me EPSON and any other brand are knockoffs of HP without the quality and the ink is outrageous. Use the HP quality paper and your pictures will look awesome.

I have used this printer for 3 years with perfect function for a large variety of printing techniques, and have had superb results. This ended when I used a Wallgreensn refell cartridge which destroyed the printer. I am looking to buy another via eBay.

This printer is very dependable. It is easy to use. I recommend using it thru the computer not the sd card. It rarely jams and is easy to dislodge paper. The prints are excellent quality.

Good buy, week to deliver and as advertised. My old printer had stopped working and the day I got the new one the old one began to work. I am regifting this to a friend.

This printer is an absolute piece of junk! I bought one brand new from Circuit City 18 months ago and the printer was only used enough to go through one full ink cartridge before it quit. The error was a ink carriage cradle stuck issue and HP tried to trouble shoot it online and couldn't get it to work. So, I decided to buy another one on ebay since HP was doing away with this model. I find a seller that is selling it new-in box on ebay. I only bought another one because I had stocked up on ink cartridges (6 of them) and so I was in for about $150 on ink and I needed another printer that took the same cartridges. So the one I get on ebay turns out to be totally way used and with scuffs and marks all over it and then on top of that was broken with the same problem my old printer had and arrived missing a cable. So now I have 2 of these pieces of crap and can't even make one good one from them. I highly recommend going with a cheap printer because they are all junk and do not last very long. Especially this one! Mine was very, very, gently used and could have been sold as brand new it was so pristine. This was a $150 dollar printer new on sale and I know originally sold for $200. Don't fall for any hype and buy a basic model and outsource all your photo developing to the professionals. Printing your own photos is NOT cheaper especially when you add up the extra cost such as; paper, ink, time, and crappy so-called professional printers like the Hewlett Packard Photosmart 7760. I vow to never buy anyting made by HP again.

I bought it because it was highly rated in Consumer Reports. The photo (and regular) printing quality is excellent. The speed is quick, and it is a pretty quiet printer. Five annoying features: you have to exchange cartridges when you print out photos or plain B&W copies, and it's easy to forget which cartridge is in there. You have to put the picture paper in upside down, and if you run out of picture paper, it automatically prints on the plain paper in the lower tray instead of indicating that you're out of picture paper. Also, you have to be there as each picture is printing out or else they will stick together, ruining your pictures. Lastly, you have to flip a little arm out or the papers will fly off into the room after they are printed.

I was very impress and happy about the good service and prompt shipping, but when I open the package, I got stonned to see the good quality of the product.

needed one to replace a broken one. New one works great.Great response time from the order. Very dependable printer and in our office we give it had use. I alaso have the same printer in all of the offices.

The 7760 prints both graphics and photos very well, is not greedy with ink and can be outfitted with an excellent mechanical duplexer for as little as $50.
Instead of paying for an HP printer repair, you can buy two of these and have about $100 left over......

This printer is a very substantial one. It gets a lot of use and has stood up quite well. This is my second one. I also like the cartridges because they can easily be refilled, thereby saving a great deal of money that would have been spent on new replacement ones. As a matter of a fact, I have filled the color one at least 10 times and the black one over 20 times. I do not recommend it for photos that are for keeping because other printers produce better results.

I am very pleased with the printer.Even though it is now a discontinued model it prints photos as good as a commercial photo processing shop.The ink cartridges are not cheap but they produce an excellent color image.I would recommend the HP 7760 printer with no reservations.I have had several printers but this unit is far and away the best that I have owned. 2006fernley WA3CCB@verizon.net

printer is what it was advertized as--and just what I was looking for!!!!! But seller used a mailing store!!!!! Don't do it--over charged her!! no tracking--and took forever!!! finally arrived ups- no sig. required etc etc....a lesson learned.

I needed the printer so I bought it. He delivered it fast and it worked. Don't know what else I can say

After 667 Paypal transaction my address went from confirmed to unconfirmed. The seller wouldn’t accept my payment. So I sent a personal check it took 4 weeks for me to get the printer. The unit is loud, prints terrible color. The seller was rude. I was afraid to give the seller a negative feedback. If I gave the seller a negative he could give me on.
I gave a seller my first Negative feedback after getting a DVD player that didn’t work. I lost my money and got a negative back for my trouble.
