Hewlett Packard Pavilion F1703 17 inch LCD Monitor

NICE SIZE GREAT PRICE AND CAME WITH SPEAKERS. I GOT MINE ON EBAY AND GOT A REALLY GOOD DEAL. I BOUGHT IT FOR MY 8 YEAR OLD SON FOR HIS XMAS PRESENT. HE LOVED IT WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND

I've had this monitor for about a month and so far, I love it. Clarity is excellent n the adjustable feature is very convinient and easy. Over all, I think this is an excellent monitor.

Even though I have not received the screen everything was good. The explanations and descriptions were clear and i was happy to hear it was refurbished. I am new to eBay and thought it would be hard. The price was also very good. This is the first item I've bought on eBay and i am excited! Thank you for selling the monitor as they not easy to find in stores!

At the foreign factories that HP uses, the power circuit board for many of these displays were given a latent problem. The silicon paste they used eventually causes internal components to heat and this translates into a display that goes blank during the first 10 sec. of use. This phenomena starts occuring after 2 or 3 years of monitor usage.
The fix is easy to find in the internet, but otherwise after fixing them, these monitors are excellent. The look is modern with a silver bezel on a dark blue case. I love the blue power button that seems to fit so many HP products.
The stand for this monitor is wonderful, it bends in many up/down/sideways to allow almost any frontal view.

I have bought two HP F1703 17 inch LCD monitors, with back light failure. This is easily repaired by soldering the power circut board. After this minor repair both monitors have performed excellent for gaming and Ebaying.

Bought monitor to fix one i had. Same model mumber.
BUt when i opened it up, the boards and connectors inside were different. No parts could be swapped between either monitor. even the connectors on the LCD were different. THis happened fro another model LCD i bought for parts the same week also. May have been just bad luck, but no more buying LCD's for parts for me.
Had to toss all 4 monitors in the trash

First of all there is nothing at all about this monitor I dislike. I love the sharpness of the picture, how much room it saves,and how my wife and i can change the height and tilt any way we need to.this is by far the best monitor I have ever owned.

I like the monitor but when I received it and turned it on a green line is vertically done the whole right side of the screen and when you turn it on now black square blocks blocking the screen on occasion. It would be a good monitor if it did not seem to be going out. If feel cheated

good monitor the pictuare quality it's okay and the arm so funcional, because you can change the position of the monitor in so manu ways.

Good monitor for a reasonable price. Purchased to repair. I have not had the time yet to repair the monitor.

I do have a power cord for a Hewlett Packard Pavilion F1503 Monitor that i purchased through ebay. perhaps that is why i was prompted to write this review. well, it supplies power to my Hewlett Packard Pavilion F1503 Monitor.

This monitor replaced a big, old work horse Sony that should have been replaced years ago. I couldn't be happier with the replacement. I expected a good used monitor but it turned out to be brand new and has worked flawlessly every minute. No down side in this monitor. I like it so well, I bought a second one for my wife. It works perfectly, too.
