Hewlett Packard PSC 2110 All-In-One InkJet Printer

All, and I do mean all, of these printers that I have ever seen/worked with/heard of have broken down within a year. The typical problem is the "remove and check [black] cartridge" error message--to which there is *no* functional solution. Before it goes out, the scanning, printing, and copying will be excellent; when it goes, don't bother trying to fix it, just buy a new one.

This printer is very problematic, particularly with Apple Computers. HP never really got the drivers right and the printer doesn't work right with Vista or higher versions Mac OS 10.4. Of course you can get GIMP PRINT drivers but then you don't get all of the functionality of the All In One.

Even if you find this printer used, I wouldn't purchase it unless less than $15. The copying function of the printer is worth that, but otherwise ... just stay away.

Of course in my unbiased opinion as a computer consultant, even the worst HP printer beats a canon or Epson All In One.

I have had this machine for five years now and I can honestly say that I have never had a problem with it. Its great to have a copier,printer and scanner. I also use mine to print photos as well. The ink seems like it lasts quite a while as well...I could have bought another printer but don't need to because this printer still works like the first day I bought it...if you want to purchase a good all-in-one printer for everyday functions this one is for you.

We've had great luck with HP over the years, so we bought the HP 2110 All In 1 for the kids. It survived multiple little hands using it, been dropped once (on a rug fortunately) and is still going strong. It's fast, doesn't hang up or jam up like the Epson it replaced and the color on regular printer paper much to our surprise was just as good as the output of our more expensive HP Photo Smart 1315 Printer.

Excellent choice for home office & general PC users. Good features with flat scanner. User adjustable resolution from 75dpi to 2400dpi+. Dual cartridge requirement can be costly but hey, buy them on ebay & save BIG! HP 56 (black) & HP 57 (color) are what you need.

Print, scan, & fax. What else would you need? This item does it all, and does it all well.

Note. If you upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 visit Microsoft Update for a PSC 2110 software update. Select "Custom" instead of "Express" to see the software updates! http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us The new Explorer causes a glitch in the scanner.

This printer is really great. I had one that I used for 3 years in college and it still works great. I printed thousands of pages on this printer and never have had a problem!

I was looking for a printer that used #56 and #57 ink. Found new model at a good price and seller shipped promptly. I may look for another for grandson.

This is an old but reliable printer/scanner. The ink prices are fairly reasonable. I love using it.

This HP printer comes ready to use. When I received mine, I plugged it in to my laptop and was ready to go. Unlike some printers, I didn't need a disk or run through an installation process. Overall, the printer is very easy to use and includes copying, scanning, and printing in black and white or color. I chose to purchase the HP PSC 2110 All-in-One because I had owned one previously that broke. The ink cartridges are a little pricey for this model, but they go a long way and provide a quality picture. So if you are looking for an affordable, easy to use printer, with the all-in-one basic options, this is a great printer for home or college.

receieved printer, haven't used yet , doest have correct wire to hook to my computer.I received package in good time, also operating disc and book.Don't know yet how good it prints. whtsmyln2006.

I knew I wanted a Hewlett Packard PSC 2110 All-In-One printer because I had previously owned one. The one that I purchased from e-Bay came dirty and without some basic and essential pieces, in particular the paper tray. I was able to get the necessary plugs and software from other sources but it was NOT provided.I requested the missing tray from the seller without success or any response. I was VERY disappointed with my purchase experience!!
