Fantastic Sound emanates from the innovative super-slim speakers -- the high-fidelity Audio Processing brings natural, crisp definition to Music and dialogue. Theoretically, this screen can be used to display widescreen HDTV-compatible images but, at 852x480, it doesn't meet the 720p standard required for actual HDTV display. That is why this plasma screen is defined as an EDTV that is Progressive-Scan compatible but not HDTV.
