The HP 1200 is a sound printer. The photo quality is great. We also use it for producing the newsletters for the fourth grade class my wife teaches and we like to print in color. It also has the ability to print on thick or thin paper and on both sides. It also uses four ink cartridges and four print heads. The challenge is the health of these. Ink is easy, but the printheads are sometimes challenging. At this time. I need two more printheads.
