Hewlett Packard Deskjet F4280 All-In-One InkJet Printer

First and foremost, got it for $25 brand new from Ebay and mainly use for my kids school printing needs. Install the software and configure it at DRAFT resolution. The speed and the printer's cost, this is the best color printer I ever had for the last 20 years.

This is an affordable, high quality and relatively fast printer. I have had a number of HP's over the years and they are real work horses. I bought this for the teenage kid to use and she finds it reliable, versatile and extremely easy to use. An excellent printer for the money.

This was the worst transaction I've made as a Buyer on eBay. This transaction had some significantly deceptive pricing tactics where over 30% of the sales costs were hidden and not exposed. The major one was that it required an outside of eBay purchase of over $38.00 for a UBS cord to make this unit work and this should have been devulged in the sale summary; also the shipping was higher than listed, included an insurance fee that was not listed and included a markup of $7.00 which was not listed. I should have never bid on this transaction.

This is the type of serious deceptive trade practice that is usually scorned by State Attorney Generals and should not be allowed on eBay; to be honest I'm not sure how much business I will be doing on eBay in the future because of this. If I do, it will never be for technology purchases anymore or for items where multiple components are needed to complete final acceptance.

This was a totally awful experience!

I bought this printer as a spare. This is my tenth HP printer. I have never had an inferior HP. HP has nice printers, good prices and they are reliable.

I love this printer. It was super easy to set up, the instructions were simple enough for my 12 year old to follow and be able to set up. It is an easy to use printer! The ink goes in easy, the paper, the scanner, the buttons, everything is laid out perfectly. The only small, minor issue I don't care for is that it a little bit louder than my Dell printer was overall, and a tiny bit slower turning on and warming up. But it prints faster, and clearer, and uses less ink per page so everything is compensated overall by that!

Nice size printer and quick copies. The paper eject shoot could be improved and the feed will only accept a small amount of feed paper as compared to some other HP printers I've had. Got it a Walmart for $29.00 can't bet the printer for the price.

Straight forward and simple to use. The install disk was a little out dated for my set up, but this printer was built 3 years ago. I am very pleased with the quality of print, copy and scanning that this printer produces.

great printer. compatible with vista. easy directions to hook up. easy to operate...comes with troubleshooting directions, too. very pleased.

There are no dislikes about the product and it works perfectly. I am truly satified with it and will shop on ebay every chance I get.

We like the printer,scanner. It does everything it is supposed to do well. It is fast and clear. It is easy to make copies without the computer. We scanned in documents easily and clearly. The ink cartridges are readily available and one of the most inexpensive types. We like it so well that we bought a second one of the same model to take to our vacation home. Recommended for everyone's home use.

I like everything about it, it's compact,,it closes on the top,,it does the job. I bought it for my friend Joanne, she has a Dell computer and printer but the ik is ridiculously expensive,and not available in many places, so now she a HP4280. She also likes everything about it,,and I like everything about her. So, now you know.

I didn't buy this item om eBay, but at Circuit City as they were going kaput. A horribole machine and a horrible experience with customer service. The software to communicate the printer to the computer didn't work. Then customer service (from India, of course)didn't send the replacement software as promised. After a second request they sent an earlier version of the software that wasn't completely compatible with the printer and I coudn't directly scan from the computer (I had to go through Windows Photo Gallery). And then after one month with moderate use (I was still on the original ink cartridge) the printer"s feeder stopped working. And for a time the HP software became a phantom screwing up my computer. Even though I uninstalled it, I would get a message from Windows the software was preventing me from loading Windows updates. I decided to eat the cost of the machine rather than go though Customer Service again. I got an Epson printer. No problems and I notice the print quality is superior to the HP (uses up ink fast, though).

Excellent printer fast delivery and great rice. Shipping was expensive,I still made out about 15.00 dollars cheaper than the store.

Things to not like:
Uses HP 60 ink cartridges - very pricey ink so look carefully for bargains here

Bought it to replace a dead HP 880C - it fits the spot where it goes in her office.

So far it seems to go quickly. Product was exactly what we were hoping for. Its a bit bigger than we thought it was going to be, but we are still satisfied.

This all in one model produces excellent quality prints, and is user friendly. Easy to install and use. I'm delighted with this little work horse!

good product perfect price cheaper than stores. I found it cheaper on the internet than the stores in southern california. Looking for antoher printer

It's a really good printer,copier and scaner.It is very to install and works well with my laptop.Also the ink cartriges are very reasonable price.

This is a pretty good unit. The printer has excellent quality, the copier is pretty fast and the scanner responds quite well. The unit averages around $75 at retail outlets, so the 45 bucks I paid for it was a very good deal. I am very satisfied with the unit. I use it quite frequently and it is holding up very well. The only thing about the unit that I am not crazy about is the very small capacity of the regular ink cartridges. You can buy high-yield cartridges but they are expensive. Not prohibitively expensive, but more than I think they should be. Overall, I feel that the $45 was well spent. Shipping was fast and the price was great - free! I count this as yet another great e-bay experience.

I bought it for my son for a Christmas present, all-in-ones is all you really need, they are so easy to use and it was for a good price!!
