Hewlett Packard Deskjet 460 InkJet Printer

I've used the HP 460 printer for work the last two years and wanted one for personal use. Its small (4 lbs) for travel use but still works well. It should come in handy.

I have been searching for some time for a suitable printer for use in my motorhome. Since space is very limited in the motorhome, I wanted something small and portable. I had considered several other brands of small printers but this HP had the option of battery power, none of the others offered this option. So far this printer has been excellent in both black and white and also color for my needs. I would recommend this printer for those needing something compact without giving up quality.

The item showed some wear, but the seller was clear about the condition before I bouth it.
I needed it as a back up printer since there are no second options in the market with same quality and price.

Bought Model 460C... I didn't think about buying this same unit that came with a Wireless Card 460WF. Anyway, Love the size and ease of transporting it. After 3 years, it's still going strong. However, I found every time I wanted to print something, I had to physically take my laptop to where the printer was, attach the USB cord then print out what I wanted. I decided to purchase another unit but this time one with the Wifi card included. I was so afraid that if or when my 460C finally dies, I wouldnt be able to purchase another one of these units. Sure enough, HP discontinued it but found one on Ebay with the Wifi card. The WiFi printing as WONDERFUL. I can be in the living room and send anything to the printer from up to 20 feet away. No more wires or hookups. I did find out that there is a way to program the 460 to print either corded or Wifi, in the event you're on a trip with no Wifi Connection.
I also purchased a second WiFi card from HP, while I still could. Had NO PROBLEM what so ever hooking it up. Had my old CD from my first machine.
Just be sure you put the WiFi card in the CORRECT SLOT. It uses the UPPER SLOT, not the lower one. I know it can also be used with Bluetooth, but I have no clue about that.
Item works well, and I'm pleased with my purchase.

I am in real estate and I needed a printer to print contracts, forms and flyers on the road. I researched both the Canon i80 and HP Deskjet 460 and decided after reading several reviews that the HP was the best choice. I was not wrong! This printer installed easily and works perfectly. The print quality is excellent and the size is small enough to put into a medium size computer bag. I really like the bluetooth capability. I print to it with multiple laptops without any wires attached. I also invested in a battery and HP 802.11g wireless card, but I have not had a chance to try them out yet. From what I have researched, print cartridge life and battery life are both excellent with the HP Deskjet 460.
I am very pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend this printer to anyone looking a mobile printer.
