Top Reviews Review created: 07/07/06 by: 24 of 26 people found this review helpful. I read a review on this type of printer and I'm having the same problem. I guest that the HP 450 was taken off the market and replaced with the HP 460 because of its inadequate preformance. It only prints when it wants, which is not very often. If you intend on buying one you better have lots of patience. Review ID: 10000000001341578 Was this review helpful? Report this review 19 of 23 people found this review helpful. This printer will print up PHOTO Quality images when you use photo paper. I do have a nice hint. DO not use recycled paper with this. USE the HEAVIER paper and this will stop alot of problems and work great for you. Review ID: 10000000002165712 Was this review helpful? Report this review 7 of 7 people found this review helpful. In the meantime I have made the same experience with the printer: it prints whenever 'it feels like it', and this is not very often; more 'nothing at all. The first couple of days it printed properly, even with the HP Bluetooth card. Strangely enough HP recommends a different printer card, but at the same time offer their BLuetooth printer card for $ 80.The tech support is expensive ( $ 39 for a totally useless telephone conversation) and sucks; seems they are aware of the defects, but are trying to conceal them! They 'offer a higher price' for an exchange with the new Deskjet 460 than HP offers it for the time being on its website! Result: Stay away from this printer Dr. Peter Feuerstein Review ID: 10000000002054974 Was this review helpful? Report this review 5 of 5 people found this review helpful. I have used this printer for over 2 years now and never had any issues. The battery works for several hours and I even bought a unit for my parents. The trick is to use HEAVY WHITE paper - do not use recycled paper!!!! The black cartridge lasts forever and the quality is very good. The unit is very light.
