Good replacement hard drive
Bought as a replacement hard drive for Compaq Presario v2000. The laptop would warn of imminent hard drive failure for a few days before crashing. Just in case that wasn't the problem, I tried to load a new operating system (Ubuntu 9.04); that stalled after the first 5% of partitioning. The new hard drive has solved the problem, worked out of the box, I just put it in, loaded the operating system, and the machine works like new.
