Heroes Over Europe (Playstation 3, 2009)

This game was about the same as Heroes Over The Pacific but with different missions and scenario. I did not think it was as good as the last one but it was still a good game. The graphics were about average,nothing really spectacular. If you play using a standard T.V. it was hard to read some of the printing.

The training for dropping bombs and torpedoes and flying was not quite as good as the first game. They did add a new feature called Ace Kill where you could knock out a plane in one burst but it was very hard to get the feel of and was a little frustrating at times.

You will battle over breathtaking recreations of London,Berlin,the French Alps and at sea.There are 14 campaigns with three or four missions in each one. There are over 40 authentic airplanes that can be unlocked but you will have to play in the Ace Mode in order to unlock all of them.

I played in the Rookie Mode and it took me 24 hours of playing time to get completely through the game. I was only able to unlock 15 of the planes and was only able to fly about 12 of them. I played in the Pilot Mode and the Ace Mode but they were both really hard to play for me. If you finish a campaign in the Rookie Mode you can replay it in the Pilot or Ace Mode to try to unlock more planes.

Overall it was a pretty good game and kept me interested the whole time. The story line could have been a little better as far as the graphics but it was still okay. You can play online with up to 16 other players.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the WW2 airplane fighting games but I would either buy one that was used in very good condition or try to find one with a good price.
