Kirk Franklin has always written songs for the soul of people, especially for the Hip-Hop generation, but I think this is the first time Kirk allowed us into his soul. The CD opens up with a chorus of children singing. Kurt reveals later that the children are from Africa and have all been orphaned due to AIDS or violence in Africa,"Let It Go", samples the British group Tears for Fears' major 80s hit "Shout" in such an inspiring way. The song talks about letting go of negative people, situation, and beliefs for a better life. This album is 5 stars all around a most have for the soul .

Another great cd by a great man of God, Hands down
) Kirk Franklin, has always put God first and he is single handedly done what many other have tryed to do.Put God first and you can see that in his music.True man of God and can inspire a man to stand strong for God. This cd is a must have for anyone looking to get close to God in an intimate way.You will find strength and healing cause his words come from a man of God.

Inspirational!When you have one of those days where you don't think it can get any worse and then it does. This cd will give you inspiration and a sense of calmness. It makes you feel like you can accomplish anything in the world with Jehova God on your side. For Jehova God is righteous and a truely loving God.

This is the most awesome album LOOOOVE it!!I originally bought for the cover song but as i listened to the whole album over and over, felt deeply the truths about life, and God's mercy towards us as sinfull disobediant children. it also has alot to say to our youth of today and as i am a single mother to an 11yr old boy with no male role models close by to look to, he likes the messages also and i pray God will use some of the words to play LOUDLY in his mind should he be tempted with peer pressures of today.

Uplifting, musical CD. Kirk Franklin has a gift.After hearing several songs on a Gospel radio station that I liked, "Imagine Me" is my favorite! I purchased the "Hero- Kirk Franklin" CD. I have since purchased 3 other copies and sent to friends all over the US. Excellent CD!

This CD was great. I used it for my students to do a praise dance for our Black History Month Program at the grammar school where I am a teacher. Then, when I had to substitute for the gym teacher, we used this CD to jazz up our class. Thanks.

Very moving, exciting, happy music. I enjoyed listening to Stevie Wonder as a guest artist, and the entire CD itself is absolutely fabulous. I recommend it to anyone who needs a lift in their soul!

I am so in love with gospel music and after hearing Kirk Franklin's CD at an organizational function I just new I had to have it. The CD is awesome and it is very helpful to stimulate one's praise and worship. The CD keeps you tuned in because of Kirk's testimonies and the realness of all of the songs. I would definitely recommend this CD to all who love gospel music.

I'm very displeased about this transaction to say the least! I never got my merchandise and I have yet to recieve a refund! I had to go as far as filing a claim for this merchandise and have yet to hear the results! I was very bothered about this however I haven't lost trust in the overall system for doing right always overcomes wrong!

Another Kirk Frankling Masterpiece!I have quite a few Kirk Franklin CDs and wanted to add this one to my collection as well. He has some slow songs as well as up-tempo ones just like on his other albums. This is one that I enjoy listening to from beginning to end! If you are a true Kirk Franklin fan, you will love this album!

This CD is one of my current favorites. Kirk Franklin is so honest in his lyrics, talking about his past, his struggles, and his humanity. If you are familiar with his music, you already know what a phenomenal artist he is. This CD reaches beyond my expectations in that the music is unbelievable, the talent is unmatched, and the lyrics are birthed out of nothing less than Kirk's personal life journey. If I had to describe it in one word, I would choose "soul." And that is exactly what it touches. From "Hero", which makes you want to run the aisles, to "It Could've Been Me" which lets you get your groove on, to "Imagine Me", which will make you cry and smile at the same time, this CD is full of musical variance. They aren't just "feel good" songs; they get you in your gut. And to me, that's the mark of a truly awesome CD. And to think, I got this masterpiece right here on good ol' Ebay for $3.25!
