    Bill Engvall's album Here's Your Sign (1996) contains the birth of the "Stupid Sign" concept that spawned his famous catchphrase and placed him in the top tier of contemporary comedians. My wife laughed until she cried the first time she listened to Engvall's down-home routines.

    Here's Your Sign is filled with homespun, story-telling, observational humor that is reminiscent of Jerry Clower or Andy Griffith with a thoroughly modern twist.

    Bill Engvall's humor eclipses that of Jeff Foxworthy, with his well-worn you-might-be-a-redneck routines, and the sometimes-crude Larry the Cable Guy. His subject matter is both family-oriented and funny. We highly recommend this CD!
