Here We Stand by Stan Ingersol, Wesley Tracy (1998, Paperback)

I bought this book for a class I am taking. Yet it is definitely a MUST READ for every Christian of the Holiness persuasion. The book compares the Holiness movement and Nazarene theology in particular with various other mainstream denominations and non-Christian religions. In doing so it explains not only WHAT Holiness Christianity believes, but WHY we have developed these specific theologies.

Any student of Christianity or of World Religions would find this book interesting. It is written in layman's terms, and is both easy to understand and fascinating to read. I have had to delay taking the class for which I bought this book, but still couldn't lay it aside. It would be a good book for a Book Club or Sunday School or Small Group to use as a springboard to discussing several religious concepts and how they apply to the members of the group individually.

I highly recommend this book.
