Here For the Party by Gretchen Wilson (CD, May-2004, Epic Nashville)

I was greatly anticipating buying this CD after hearing "Redneck Woman" and 'Here for the Party". However, after you get past the first two tracks, which happen to be those two songs I just listed, the CD became a bit dull. I would not say it lacks substance, but I was a bit disappointed with in it it's entirety. It's an ok addtion to any CD collection, but only to listen to once in a great while.

Good old redneck down home country gal at her finest. Fun CD to listen to. Makes me want to get my name put on the back of my belt.

Here is a great CD by a awsome country female singer. One of the best there is in the business. I have been listening to country music all my life and Gretchen Wilson is lives up to the job at hand.

I received this CD as a gift. Once my husband heard it he put it in his truck and that was the last I had seen of it. I asked him about it and he said he wasn't giving it up because it was a great one for going to work. I bought this one on ebay because I needed my own!

This is a great album. Snappy upbeat songs as well as a couple ballads. Perfect for your karaoke or dance party!

HELP! I have a 8yr old niece that can sing and do all of Gretchens moves,I swear if Grtechen saw her she would have her on stage with her. this is not a joke it is very serious! If you have any info as too where I should start please let me know. thanks Kim 503-978-8189

This womans voice has it all.. and the thing I like the most.. when you hear a Gretchen Wilsons song for the first time on the radio, you ask yourself who is this? She doesn't sound the same like several other country artists that when you hear the first word of the song, you know immediately who it is. The ballads are quite stirring. I really think she writes from the heart as well as sings from there.

A 3 song CD is a rip off!
I would have never bought the album for 1 song and 2 scrap songs. Pretty cheap to start without a real album.
Should have sold a single, rather than try to trick fans into an album, that don't exsists.
Over rated!!

Hello.I bought this cd for the songs of"Here For The Party"&"Redneck Woman"&"When I Think About Cheatin" as these are Gretchen's famous songs,but you'll love the other 7 songs she has on this cd.She is a downhome sogwriter and can tell a great story through her songs.She tells it like it is in life and shows us that she is tough and able to stand up against anyone in the Country music business.She is a woman to admire in the country music business as her songs are great to listen to wether they are the roudy or easy listening.This is a great cd for woman to listen and have in there collection!

This CD is fun, snappy, and a real foot stomper! I have it in my car, on my MP3 player, on my lap top so I can hear it often. Which I do! Good thing cassettes are out of style because I would have wore out the tape! Since I know Gretchen is so great I have also since purchased All Jacked Up CD. She is wonderful

I bought this cd after hearing Gretchen on the radio and seeing her on tv. She is such a strong woman that is so down to earth, and that is GREAT for a change. I love her music. on this cd she really flaunts her strengh, sucess, and love for life. she also inroduces you to the redneck woman! LOL!!! I love it.
