Here Come the Brides - The Complete First Season (DVD, 2006, 6-Disc Set)

This show brought back wonderful memories of a truly wonderful show. It brought tears to my eye and a lot of laughs. It was like seeing an old friend after many years. One of my best TV DVD purchase. I've gotten my money's worth and then some.

I loved watching this show when I was a teeny bopper. Bobby Sherman was such a cutie. I was surprised to learn that my sister-in-law in Seattle had never heard the theme song, and even more surprised that she'd never even heard of the show. For her birthday, I bought her this set. She watched it with my brother and Mom and really enjoyed it. I've got first dibs on borrowing it when she's done. Now she has a fuller understanding of the Seattle area, from a historical perspective. It was quite a hit in the Northwest. The DVD set brings back great memories.

It was a great show and the DVD's bring it all back!! I will watch and rewatch it over and over. Well worth the money for a trip down memory lane.

I rented the first season and liked it so much a bought it. If you're as "old" as I am, you'll enjoy this favorite tv show from way back. The picture quality is great and I have had a great time watching this blast from the past.

After decades off the air, I am loving this. Was a huge fan, and really missed it.

This is when TV writers could actuallly WRITE!! Good stories usually made for a good show. The dialogue was sometimes off but the overall tone of each show was very good.

I love this DVD!! Here Come The Brides was one of my favorite TV Shows of all time,I enjoy watching it because it brings back Fond Memories of my Carefree Teenage Years.

this was one of my favorate series from the 70s. i havent seen it on tv since then. im so glad they are putting it on dvd. good going. im looking forward to series two.

Great Family show. The values portrayed in the show are as important today as they were 40 years ago. I bought the DVD because the show is so well done, that it is worth watching over and over. It is a show that should be viewed by everyone to learn the proper way of dealing with others.

Used to watch this many years ago. So when it came out on DVD I had to get it.
Watched it all in one weekend. Still love "Here Come the Brides" after all these years. Glad I bought it, and will keep it to watch again...

Best Show and DVD ever made! Super Great Seller! I video taped it many years ago when it was a rerun. It was the favorite show of my three sisters, mother, myself, and many of my friends. We discussed it every week on the playground, and then also in Jr. High. I don't know anyone who didn't like it, or wasn't talking about it at the time. Everyone I know has searched the channels for it. We were even hoping it would go on TV Land. It is a very special one-of-a -kind show because of all the love that was on it between the brothers. Back then, people were not afraid to show sibling love. Now sibling love on TV is reserved for children, such as on re-runs of Full House, or shows like re-runs of Little House On The Prairie. Also, the actors picked for the characters were perfect. They could not have chose anyone better for any of the roles. Robert Brown, Davis Soul, and Bobby Sherman appeared to have a great chemistry to work together. Bridget Hanley was perfect as Candy Pruitt, Nad so were Joan Blondell, Mark Lenard, Susan Tolsky, Henry Beckman, and actually allo f the cast, including the children that came on the second year. The title was catchy. The town was put together nicely. There wasn't too much violence. It was not corny. No sexual content so little kids could watch it too. It was a family show. I bought three copies just for our family alone!

I bought it for my wife who loves the show and can't wait till the second season comes out. There just not any good shows like this one was. Wish there was more shows like it.

the best family viewing, even when I saw it in the late 60's. my wife fell in love with it, and can't wait till the second season comes out. she was only 4 at the time it came on the air in 68. a wonderful, heart warming series.

Any child of the 60's will love this! What great memories this brought back to me! I looks even better than when it was on TV. Don't know if they remastered the tapes, but the quality is wonderful. You won't be sorry- Unfortunately if the sales on this set is not good, the studios don't plan on producing any further seasons, so if you were a fan of Bobby Sherman (oh...what a doll) buy this first season set so they can see wer want more!

My son purchase season one for me last year for my B.Day WOW! I remembered it just as it was years ago, I was so in love with Bobby Sherman! The show was great super then as is super now. My son loved it while we watched together. This was one of the best B.Day gifts ever! Does anyone know when the 2nd season is coming out?

I have looked for yeas for this series and I love that I am able to watch this series again. I t was one that made an impession on me as a young lady and I have been waiting for this to come out on video so that I could share a very clean and funny show from my past with my children and grandchildren

OH WHAT MEMORIES CAME FLOODING BACK WHEN I WATCHED THIS. THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORTE SHOWS WHEN I WAS A KID. ANYONE WHO HAD A CRUSH ON BOBBY SHERMAN LOVED THIS SHOW AND WOULD LOVE IT AGAIN. I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW GOOD THESE SHOW REALLY WERE AND THAT YOU COULD ACTUALLY LET A CHILD WATCH THEM WITH YOU WITHOUT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT LANGUAGE OR ANYTHING VULGAR POPPING UP. I AM A CHILD OF THE 60S-70S AND I AM SO HAPPY I MADE THIS PURCHASE.

I bought this dvd as a gift for Christmas. They loved it! I could not find this dvd anywhere else but on ebay. I was able to find it quickly and order with no problems.

I bought this DVD set because I was a big fan of the show in the late 60's - early 70's. It did not disappoint. It's just as much fun now as it was then. A sweet, innocent, easy to watch show, and Bobby Sherman too!

I am so glad this is back and that I now can share the great shows that I watched as a child with my kids. Great movie set. Looking forward to the rest coming out.

I recall actually watching this show once or twice when it was on in the late sixties -- but I was in high school and had other things going on. My husband, however, is a bit younger than I am and loved "Here Come the Brides" as a kid. He watched it faithfully. He's really enjoying watching it again –– and I'm enjoying it for pretty much the first time. It's predictably cheesy sixties TV fare -- but, it's well acted and the plots move along at a good pace. If you have young children at home I would encourage you to purchase "Here Come the Brides" for them to watch since there aren't many shows like this on TV these days.

The product was good quality. The show was not as I remember it. It didn't seem to have very good story lines. It was nice to take a trip down memory lane.
