if you are a novice like i am, christopher kimball and his staff take mealtime and make it more enjoyable. it is like going to cooking school but its fun and informative.

the recipes are simple to prepare because there are step by step techniques. it is also great to know that all it takes is a curious mind and ingredients you can get in the local market.

cooking is fun again because it not only challanges you to try new things but the old tried and true favorites are perfected.

learning a better way to make something that i loved as a child and doing it even better than i remember is so satisfying that it has enspired me to be a better cook.

i drool at the thought of a new cookbook each season. more importantly i like that fact that i can watch on dvd or on my local public television station just how things are done when making a new recipe.

i will not part with this cookbook it is my secret weapon when it comes to impressing my guests.
