In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner (2004, Paperback, Reprint)

Great Book I loved the characters and actually felt like I knew them. I read this in one weekend. This book will make you angry, laugh, and cry. Rose is your typical lawyer type boring sister while Maggie is the fun loving happy go lucky girl. Their bond is amazing you will find yourself glad you read this book.

I bought the book because I had fallen in love with the movie, which has underlying stories that are implied but not thoroughly explored. Although the book was a good read, it made me appreciate the film even more. I wondered if Jennifer Weiner's characters would be more in depth in the book, but what I found was that the film, although cutting out some things and adding others, actually got everything across in an interesting and more powerful way. This may be one of those books I would have thoroughly enjoyed had I not seen the movie first.

I LOVED this book. I finished it in a day. The sibling relationship really reminded me of my sister and me. I would suggest this book for any woman.

Books are always better than movies, well if you have seen the movie you should read the book even better.
