Henry Fielding's Tom Jones

I liked it the first time I saw it. I may even like it more when I get the chance to watch it again (5 hours) straight through. I mainly got it because I picked up the book and it was SO-- terribly long. I started to read it, but felt I needed a translator like in school for Romeo and Juliet. I decided to watch the movie instead. Maybe now that I have seen it, I can enjoy the book more. The characters in the movie were very likeable. I must say that all the ranting and screaming of Squire Western got old very quickly. Also, I guessed the main character, Tom's identity way before the 5 hours were up, although I will not mention it here what it is. I would recommend it to those who enjoy period movies. Worth watching.
