Hellboy II: The Golden Army (DVD, 2008, Widescreen)

Sent me an email right after I paid for the item to Thank me and then sent another email the following day to tell me the item shipped I will definitely be buying more movies from this seller.

believe it or not this was an enjoyable movie; kids loved it and so do I. No swearing, cuss words, sex, nudity, etc. It was purchased after kids (ages 4 and 5; boy and a girl) saw and liked Hellboy. Compared to Watchmen it is oscar material.

This movie is for everybody which mean whole family can sit down together and have a movie night and at the same time grown up can enjoy too. The movie has action and a little comedy which is good too. Acting is good, visual effects are also good overall, the movie is 2 thumbs up and good for movie collecting.

I loved the first Hellboy so much I thought I'd like this one as much but it's not as funny or as entertaining as the original movie.

Never know what to say, good movie. guess I have to enter lots of characters and it is a pain. Why have the review, seems redundant, feedback does tell how you like or dislike the product.

This is one of those movies you like more every time you watch it! All the creatures in the movie are amazing! Another thing I liked about it is that fact that it dosen't have a lot of profanity. Our young child was in the room when we were watching it and I didn't feel like I had to turn it off. I can't wait for the copy I just ordered off ebay to come in the mail...love it!

Hellboy II is a funny and action packed as the first one with a heavier story and even more great characters. The fight scenes are great, Hellboy has met his match in part two!

No need for a long review, this is a DVD collectors item!

i got the movie for my kids they loved hellboy 1 and they wanted hellboy 2.when the mail ran and the movie was here we watch it and they were very happy it was as fun as the frist one.so i would tell everyone and anyone to buy it. thank you

It's a movie I've been wanting to buy. I enjoyed watching it in theaters and now have it as part of my collection.

this one was much better then the first hellboy, anf i liked the humor that was added to this one. i bought it cause the movie critic who didn't like the first one like me , liked this one and so did i.

My family enjoyed it especially the villian and can't wait for Hellboy III.

We loved Hellboy I and decided to buy Hellboy II for our collection--it isn't quite as great as the first one, but still very good and worth the purchase!

I am a recent Hellboy fan. I had never seen the 1st one until it was on tv. I was hooked after that & had to see the real version. The Golden Army had recently come out when I was just seeing the 1st. I couldn't find the GA one without it being the collectors edition with some included figure. I eventually gave up locally & turned to eBay. Got it 1/2 price & haven't looked back!

You have to see the scene where Red & Blue (HB & Abe) sing!! People (I was one of them) think this is some weird-I sci-fi movie. But it's much more & they are the good guys!! Who could guess by the name & looking at them?!?!

We never received this and are still waiting! We ordered this before Christmas and still have not received it.

Hellboy 2 is awesome once again there is tons of action with comedy and the love story of Hellboy and Liz. It is almost better than the 1st but I truly like them both. It is 2hrs that at the end you wish there was more. Definately one for the collectors to buy instead of renting it then you can watch it over and over and over again. Buy it you won't be disappointed. Can't wait for Hellboy 3!?!?! Will it continue we can only hope so,lol. Get the popcorn and Enjoy!!!

I found the story, character development to be much improved over the first Hellboy. All the characters were really great in their roles and the love interest subplot was cool. Most movies just rely on effects and less on story, but this movie has both, great monsters,effects and a great story.

Both Hellboy movies are a good watch. I prefer this one over the first one. Has more action and humor in it, along with a decent storyline. I wouldn't go as far to say that it's an amazing movie, because it's far from it. It was good enough to watch. It's not something I'd watch again though. To watch in a theater or to rent at the store is good. If your a fan of action/comic book series then you should watch it. The acting was par, nothing more. Just simple and easy acting in my opinion.

Just like the first movie. This is about a Demon Boy, names Hellboy (Ron Perlman) who helps protect the Human Race from creatures. Ironically, he himself is a creature. The Golden Army is a force of machines that can end and destroy the Earth. He must go through many adventures and missions in order to save the Human Race. The movie has good potential for action. I always liked the way Hellboy makes some jokes here in there. I guess I had fun watching this movie. Thanks for reading my review!

good action, edge of your seat excitement..very enjoyable...beginning to end. Great pickup from the 1st movie... Appropiate for all ages...

The shipping time was great, although the quality of the product did not match. It was a bootleg and the cutting for the cover was poorly done. There were parts of the synopsis that were cut off. As for the quality of the dvd itself. It was top notch, superb even.
