Heavy Metal 2000 (DVD, 2000, Special Edition)

I have never received this item, paid for it but David Bittle never sent it to us. I will never order from him again. I have emailed ebay several times trying to ge help but nobody would respond back to me or help me.

Julie Strain is a B movie actress. She really can't bring the actual emotion to the part that would make her a really good actress. She is a beautiful woman, but she acts like she thinks this is the way someone gets mad. While there are times that she does come across as genuine, the very next scene has bad emoting in it. I've heard other voice over actors sound arrogant when they talk about their abilities, but what they do when they act is lose themselves in the character. Should Julie decide that she can actually put herself into the character, her acting will improve. Until then, she'll remain a B actress who is better known for being beautiful and sensual, which there is really nothing bad about that. She does have a huge career and is a respectable personality. The rest of the movie runs pretty well, but is a little disappointing in the increasing number of fade to blacks that occur in the last third of the movie, almost as if people were getting tired of making it. All in all, worth the thirteen dollars I paid for it, but it won’t be like the first Heavy Metal, which I’ve watched 20+ times. I’ll probably only watch this twice and put it in the collection in case someone wants to borrow it.

I really enjoyed it. I liked the story line, the mature dialog and the animation. I would like to see more adult content animations.

Good fun i like scifi and old music syles. so now i have to figure out how to write 100 characters so this review thing will leave me alone lol. it a good movie and i amagine it will sell for around 10 usd for a long time.

More of a fluid story than the prequel and the animation style stays true to the original. If you enjoyed the first Heavy Metal, you won't be disappointed with Heavy Metal 2000.

Everything in great order and very pleased, all was as promised. will buy from this site again in the future.

the original is better. the ending is brutal in this one! would love to have my money back but its not worth the $10. Oh well.

I liked the first movie put out and did not have a chance to see the second one. Was dissapointed about the story line but as far as quality of the DVD and the sellers handeling of this exchange was excellent and I will probably continue purchasing DVD's or CD's from this person as long as they stay in bussiness.

watch this one first then 2008 to get the whole theroy. excellent but you have to really pay attention because you'll miss one thing and it will throw you off. no bathroom breaks here.

Those into creative animation will enjoy this. It's not terribly long and the plot is decent. I enjoyed it because of the connection to the first movie and the voice acting I felt was good, as was the animation. A pretty good show.

Sequel to the original Heavy Metal movie the Action and plot is everything I expected. This Movie will keep you on edge because it constantly tries to top the original. Although similar to the original this sequel takes a completely different turn!! You will enjoy it, I DID!! Thank you for reading my review, DOUG

A killer addition to The Orig. "Heavy Metal"!! Always great to keep a Saga going as long as possible!! Still hoping for a Part III!! (Anyone listening??) Great for an At-Home Midnite movie double feature session. Or just to throw on for background Party Music. I found this one with a great seller & it arrived in time for a perfect Birthday surprise present!! Can't recommend enough!!

The sound track was great for the movie, fast paced music for fast paced action. I liked the animation, not top notch, but deffinently good. Same as the previous movie, contains graphic violence, nudity, and adult language. So if you like animated psychopaths, bouyant female charcters, blood flying, nudity, and foul language, to a metal sound track this should do the trick. Some people didn't like it as much as the original, I personaly liked it better. It is one whole movie instead of multible shorts as the first one was.

I purchased this movie cause i heard it was a really great movie i watched it myself and agreed it was a great movie and a must see i didnt dislike anything about it i loved the movie I would recommend my friends and other people that havent seen this movie to see it ...its a great movie .

the dvd was great sci-fi entertaiment. the cover is catchy,and the price was very reasonable. a great addition to my collection.

I bought this movie, along with the original Heavy Metal movie for my husband for his birthday. I was looking for the 1st one and was pleasantly surprised to find it on ebay and even more surprised to find out there was a second movie. I am sure he will enjoy the second as much as he enjoys the original. Great finds waiting to be found on ebay!

Great DVD Just what I was looking for. Number one thing I wanted was new and unopened DVD. Here it was on E-Bay up for bid from this seller. I won it nad now I get to write this review about it.
