When Heaven and Earth Changed Places by Jay Wurts, Le Ly Hayslip (1993, Paperback, Reprint)

While the book is long, it is interesting and gives one a much better understanding of Vietnamese families and culture in the South during the War. It's hard to find any "good guys" as none of the "sides" come off blameless but it is helpful to understand all that from this memoir.
