Excellence in Canadian film
I saw this movie once on TV a couple of years ago and loved it so much! I was recently discussing Canadian movies with a friend and remembered this one so I decided to find it and buy it. It was even better than the first time I saw it! It has all the richness of a Canadian film and portrays the reality of being homeless. The two main characters develop a companionship and trust over the length of the movie. This is a movie that will prompt much discussion among viewers. There is a considerable amount of language and violence as well as graphic images so it is definitely not suitable for young children. Highly recommend this!
