Synopsis An Irish heart clinic is the setting for Binchy's latest feel-good novel, which is packed with richly-drawn secondary characters who bring the action and emotion to life. Dr. Clara Casey has been charged with getting the clinic on its feet, despite a lack of significant funding, and she fills the hospital's halls with an assortment of exuberant, dedicated employees who gradually infect the grumpy patients with their infectious cheer. Soon, Dr. Casey must consider whether to extend her temporary stay, now that she and the clinic have become an integral part of the community.
