A Heart Ablaze by John Bevere (1999, Paperback)

The book challenges traditional teaching of why an individual seeks salvation. It's more than going to heaven and avoiding damnation. The book explains to people (no matter where they are in their walk with Jesus), how to have a personal relationship with HIM. It requires a sincere love for HIM and not just seeking HIM for what HE can provide for you. A desire to be dedicated to HIM no matter the circumstance. Choose to love HIM sincerely or pretend you love HIM until things don't go your way. Choose to be Moses or the children of Israel. This book is a life changing book, but you have to be honest with yourself and God if you expect to change.

This book was so good that I wanted it for other Christian friends. It challenged my thinking and helped me understand passages that I have always had questions about. It was really, really, really good.

This is maybe on of John Bevere greatest books. Ask yourself why would you want to go to heaven and spend eternity with God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ if you don't even know them? This book will revile God's desire to have relationship with you. It also offers an invitation to Draw near to God as God draws near to us. You will be challenged by the things that God reviles through the writings in this book. John Bevere is a man of God who knows God's heart and this book can be like a road map to lead you to the heart of God. John Bevere uses tons of scripture to lead you to a Heart that is on Fire for God. I love that John Bevere doesn't just go down rabbit trails, his teaching are all scripturly based.

I read this book in 2 days. It was very hard to put it down. My Pastor is doing a study on this book. It is very good.

I love anything by John Bevere. This is a great book, and for anyone seeking to follow Christ, and becoming a vessel of honor, I recommend reading anything by John Bevere, as well as living your life to seek the Lord.

This is a very informative and faith filled book that as a chistian you definatly need to sharpen yourself to grow into the knowlege of him who called you
