Health Care USA by Harry A. Sultz, Kristina M. Young (2005, Paperback)

I do not like this book. Very long sentences make for a boring read!! The only reason I bought it is for a class...!

It is serving the purpose. I bought this book as a text book - I am taking bachelor of science degree in Health Information Management and this is one of the text books.

Taking classes for Healthcare Administration and was excellent for the upcoming class I had. Very informative and interesting too.

I bought the cheapest textbook that was offered. It arrived in about three days of purchase. The book had a used sticker on the spine but it was in new condition.

Interesting reading about the pressures acting upon our health care system in this country. Required text for my senior health science cirriculum at Stony Brook University.

I was very impressed with the turnaround time it took for me to receive this book. I looked at this site earlier and the books were expensive. I tried again after comparing prices with other websites and was surprised to find the book at a reasonable price. I use Ebay often to purchase all of my school textbooks, and will definitely recommend it to others.

This was a required book for the course I am taking and is a very good overview of US Health Care. I am learning to use the author's references for further study.

The product is fine. There have been many corrections that the instructor has made, making it out dated. The reason I bought it is because it is a required book for my class.
You should take as many characters as it takes to describe my opinion of the product. If this were a product other than a text book I might have more to say about it, but it is not. I do not have much to say. If it weren't for the fact that I feel it is important to give you feedback on your service, I would have deleated the whole thing and said the hell with saying anything at all. My time is valuable.

I bought this book because I am majoring in Health Care Administration online through Ashford University. It is a required course for my major.

The text seems to show the author's slant on things. There is one reference to a "Chief" online reference to hospital quality which not one of my classmates, nor their extensive contacts in the medical field, had ever heard of. The text elevates the Leap Frog Group as the authority on hospitals. However, this group only posts self-reported information from hospitals without any verification, and most of the rural hospitals, despite major differences in their capacities, have exactly the same information shown.

I am still in the class, but the text seems to have a definate bias, and I would not recommend it unless it is required for a class you are taking.

Good book, easy to read. Helps explain the politics behind our health care system today. I bought this book for a class and it has been interesting to read.

This book is very informative and contains information about insurance, different health care occupations, and has quite current information. I needed it for a Health Care class I'm currently enrolled in.
