Healing Is a Choice by Stephen Arterburn (2005, Hardcover)

This is an exellent book that encourages personal growth. Personally, I enjoy that the author, Stephen Arterburn, shares from his own life's experiences. I decided to buy this book because, I have grown to trust this author's counsel to be Biblically sound. It has given me practical tools and motivation to continue in my own healing process. The only negative, I see, is that the steps are hard work. I highly recomend it to anyone who is on their own path of growth and healing.

This book is amazing! I read after having completed my own healing journey, and reading it on the printed page did so much for me. I have since given this book as a gift several times, knowing that its contents will change lives. The information is easy to understand, practical, and the author's inclusion of personal experiences normalizes pain, grieving, and healing.

I received the book in 12 days. However, I did not receive notification that the book was on its way. That would have been nice. The book was in good condition, but, it would have been nice if they took off the bargin price they paid for it. (It was double of what I paid) I also did not like the fact that I could not take off the insurance of $2.50 that I didn't want to pay.

I'm a fan of New Life counseling on radio so wanted to read Steve's book
as I'm healing my own life. I felt it was very repetative, healing is a choice and trust God each chapter with bible references. Good advice, I agree, but
not as good as other relationship books I've read.

Absolutely love this book. I hade an abusive childhood, and recently became disabled due to fibromyalgia and lupus. The title caught my eye and the book has healed my heart.

This book is powerful and well written. It can change your life. A workbook is also available. It brings the Bible principles into practical life.

Must read! Everyone needs a healing. This book is a good tool for me to begin a healing journey. The author is very transparent.
