Head First Ajax by Rebecca Riordan (2008, Paperback)

I had only the vaguest idea about Ajax before I bought this book. This book helped me conceptualize web programming. Included in this book are many different tutorial that, at least in my case, covered everything I wanted to do. this book is modular, as in you can take whatever code that you want from it and put it in your site. One nice thing about this book is that it is entertaining to read. This makes learning the material must easier. I would recommend this book to both beginners and professionals. For beginners, this gives a nice overview of what you can can accomplish with AJAX. For professionals, if any clients demand something simple, this would be the first book I check, as it has complete examples that are very well coded and expained, making them easy to them your own.
