The best by J. Green!

I absolutely love Jane Green's writing; the wit, humor, and lovable/love-to-hate characters. Unfortunately, towards the end of the book, I tend to roll my eyes at the predictability. I just haven't been pleased with the conclusions.
This book, however, surpassed my expectations, and I had a tear (of joy) in my eye at the end. I LOVED IT!
Poor Alice. She hasn't yet found herself when she discovers her unrequited teenage love back in her life. Joe. He decides that although Alice isn't good enough for him, she could be. So he marries her under the guise of being able to change her.
Like his father before him, however, Joe has a wandering eye. And he acts on it. Again and again and again. Does Alice know? Maybe. Does she put up with it? For an infuriatingly long time.
Joe has an indiscretion at work with a colleague and is caught, and Joe and Alice must move from London to New York. It is in the suburbs, in a country home in Connecticut, where Alice finds herself. And quite possibly, true love...
