The Haunted Bookshop by Christopher Morley
This book picks up the story and characters introduced in Christopher Morley’s book Parnassus on Wheels. Roger Mifflin has now settled down in his own bookshop in Brooklyn, New York. It’s another wonderful yarn, deep in philosophy, swept up in the worldly events of the day (probably 1918), and dealing with some very curious, even mysterious circumstances. This is a wonderful companion to Parnassus on Wheels, completing the overall story. Both books are fun to read, extremely well-written and considered by many to be American classics.
