If you can't match MTF resolution in the 150-200 lp/mm range, get the equivalent dynamic range of 17 zones with ultra-saturated color and superior bokeh, not to mention industry leading image quality for way under $2000 with your japanese digital camera then shut up and go away. Oh yes, by the way, will that new computer and O/S you have to get in 2 years even operate with the software package you got with that instantly obsolete firmware. Should I go on? Sure why not. How much post processing time do you spend working over that RAW file just to get it to look "right"? Starting to get the picture? Maybe if you are lucky you can pawn that Nikon, Canon or Minolta digital to someone who doesn't know any better. . . Get into medium format film and see what fine art photography is all about and save those digital toys for little Johnny's birthday party and e-mails to grandma.
